Silas Long (b. 1995) is a multimedia artist and curator based in Chicago, Illinois. Their practice examines the image mediated environment and its influence on the psyche. Through a combination of new and traditional media, their work considers mortal anxiety amidst the increasingly visceral digital landscape; emphasizing the horrors of commercial saturation, global instability, and viewership.

Their work has been exhibited at The Plan in Chicago, IL; Happy Gallery in Chicago, IL; Sometimes Space in Ypsilanti, MI; Basketshop Gallery in Cincinnati, OH; Mean Street Gallery in Cincinnati, OH; Dream Clinic Project Space in Columbus, OH; and the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH. From 2021-2023, they were Co-Curator for Rainbow Gallery in Cincinnati, OH and currently curate exhibitions at the DIY art and music venue Not Not in Chicago, IL. They received their BFA from the University of Cincinnati in 2017.
