Silas Long (b. 1995, Edgewood, KY) is a nonbinary, multimedia artist, designer, and curator based in Chicago, Illinois. Through a combination of new and traditional media, their work considers mortal anxiety amidst the increasingly visceral digital landscape; emphasizing the horrors of commercial saturation, global instability, and viewership.

They were co-curator for queer, BIPOC-focused gallery RAINBOW in Cincinnati, OH from 2021-2023. They have organized exhibitions and events at a variety of warehouses, studios, and apartments since 2018, including art collaborative and DIY music venue NOT NOT in Chicago, IL. They are the Media Manager at Solway Gallery in Cincinnati and served as creative and digital content specialist for Kavi Gupta in Chicago in 2024. view resume

Their work has been exhibited at The Plan in Chicago, IL; Happy Gallery in Chicago, IL; Sometimes Space in Ypsilanti, MI; Basketshop Gallery in Cincinnati, OH; Mean Street Gallery in Cincinnati, OH; Dream Clinic Project Space in Columbus, OH; and the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH. They hold a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning (DAAP).
