Silas Long (they/them) is a multimedia artist and curator living and working in Chicago, Illinois. Blending textiles, photography, and sculpture, they investigate the psychological influence of the image mediated environment.

Long’s compositions are crafted through a collage-like methods, using both digital and physical processes to demonstrate how images can be materialized. Their work articulates isolation in the digital era and the relationship between mass consumption, fantasy, and mortality.
